Fox appears to be working on a disc brake designed to automatically remove air bubbles from the system. A new patent application provides some interesting details.

Fox's wireless seatpost is not only super fast when it comes to travel adjustment, but is now even more versatile. The suspension specialist is expanding the line-up of the Transfer Neo with a long-awaited option: The wireless dropper post is now available with up to 225 millimeters of travel. This means that Fox now also offers mountain bikers with long legs or modern frames with a low top tube the maximum freedom they need for the steepest descents and technical terrain.

In 2005, Fox introduced the suspension fork model 36. The massive fork was regarded as the benchmark for enduro forks and stood out with its high stiffness and relatively low weight. For the 20th anniversary of the fork, the US suspension specialists are launching the 36 as an SL version for the first time - stiff, light and with up to 140 millimetres of travel, designed for trail use. But the classic 36 is also new, with a stiffness similar to the 38.

The courses are difficult, the passages steep and blocked, and there is hardly any time to catch your breath on the downhill. This is where a suspension fork that is light but allows the rider to plow through rock gardens in a relaxed manner comes in handy. The new 34 mm fork from Fox Shox takes on this task.

The Orbea Fox Factory Team is completely revamping its team and saying goodbye to Anne Tauber, Chiara Teocchi, David Campos and Luca Martin. In the 2025 season, the Spanish racing team will compete as the "Orbea Fox Factory Team" with increased involvement from Fox. The athletes who carry the team name to the outside world are all the more spectacular: Belgian Pierre de Froidmont, the only remaining member of the old team, is joined by Simon Andreassen (DEN), Rebecca Henderson (AUS) and Jennifer Jackson (CAN). Vario seatposts have arrived in cross country, but are still mostly heavy. With the new Transfer SL, Fox is launching what is probably the lightest seatpost on the market. This is available in 27.2, 30.9 and 31.6 millimeter diameters and offers 50 or 70, and 70 or 100 millimeter travel for thicker posts. The weight of the mechanical post starts at 327 grams - without holes, of course.

Fox is launching two interesting buffers for the 2022 model year: with the new FloatX, the US suspension specialists are offering a lightweight air shock with the qualities of the downhill shock, combined with simplified adjustability. At the same time, Fox is making the DHX steel shock compatible for short-stroke trail bikes thanks to shorter installation lengths and some simplifications.

What was "long enough" back then is far too little today - the travel of dropper seatposts. Some manufacturers have been offering posts with 200 millimetres of travel for some time, and Fox is now one of them. For stroke fetishists and long-legged riders, the Americans offer the 200 mm transfer post with a diameter of 30.9 and 31.6 millimetres, with 1- and 2-way remote options and a total weight of around 650 grams.

The Fox 38 was developed with a clear focus on racing, and the matching DHX2 and Float X2 shocks have been optimized for 2021. Whether the suspension elements are only suitable for racing use or also off the racetrack has been intensively tested over the last three months.

The "Transfer" variable seatpost has been given a complete overhaul: Fox has not only reduced the weight, but also the installation depth, among other things. Depending on the stroke, which is available in lengths of 100, 125, 150 and 175 millimetres, this is 30 to 50 millimetres. There is also a new thumb lever with improved ergonomics and compatibility with I-spec EV so that it can be mounted directly on Shimano's brake lever clamp.

The US suspension manufacturer Fox is not stingy with innovations. After the new 36, 38 and 40 models, the X2 now also comes with new suspension for the rear triangle. This features improved tunability of the high-speed rebound, matching 8-click HSC and HSR settings on Grip2 forks and X2 shocks, lower friction seals and much more.

The glory days of Marzocchi were a while ago. But since suspension expert Fox took the bomber forks under its wing, things have been looking up again. The acquisition of Marzocchi by Fox has now resulted in a change of distribution in Switzerland. However, the legendary - and also very scantily clad - Bomber girls are not in sight.

For the 2019 model year, Fox is introducing a number of innovations, some of which are more than just updates. Starting with the classic 36-Float, which comes with a completely new damping system, Fox is also launching a completely new fork for tougher cross-country use. After twelve years, Fox launches the new version of the classic Flux helmet. On board are safety-relevant designs such as the Mips system and a new size adjustment system to ensure greater comfort.

The DPX2 is Fox's new trail shock. This is a combination of the existing Float DPS and X2 damper models. It combines the cross-country efficiency of the Float with the downhill characteristics of the X2 - the best of both worlds, so to speak. This shock absorber is designed to impress with its improved response and offer the rider significantly more support in the mid-travel range.
