Fox changes distributor: "Fox by Fumo

This summer, distribution heavyweight Fuchs-Movesa made one of the most talked about industry news stories of the year: Fox suspension elements are coming under the umbrella of the company, which is also the general importer for Shimano. Fuchs-Movesa is now presenting the concept for supplying specialist retailers and mountain bikers with suspension elements and the associated service.

Swiss service for Californian suspensions
"Fox by Fumo" is the motto that will apply from October 1, 2014. The company Suspension Center in Riggisberg is no longer the Swiss importer for the Californian manufacturer's suspension forks and dampers. However, Suspension Center is now the first company in Switzerland to act as a "Fox Master Partner", where the business model is strongly focused on Fox suspension elements.

Staged partnership
Fuchs-Movesa is also creating the "Fox Pro Partner" and "Fox Basic Partner" classifications for specialist bicycle retailers. In 2015, eight "Fox Pro Partners" are to be approved throughout Switzerland, with a very high focus on Fox products in this product range. A "Fox Basic Partner" is a specialist retailer who takes part in the annual Fox training courses.

Training courses in January and February 2015
The training concept designed by Fuchs-Movesa includes initial seminars at the specialist dealer training event Infotech in Lucerne in January 2015. This will be followed by four Fox workshops in January and February 2015.

New team
Fuchs-Movesa is launching the new Fox business segment with five specialists. Oliver Kaderli, Matthias Haller, Sandra Zollinger, Patrick Ebli and Melanie Kiefer (from left to right) are responsible for all matters relating to Fox product sales, service, tuning and warranties.
