Integration into the existing Bosch system allows Live Valve to draw the very small amount of electrical energy required to operate directly from the e-bike's main battery, eliminating the need for a separate battery unit. In addition, Live Valve's system settings can be adjusted via the handlebar-mounted Bosch Kiox display. Adjustments and tuning can also be made via the Live Valve mobile app, which is available for both iPhone and Android operating systems.

Since its launch a year ago, Live Valve has delivered race wins in mountain biking and other sports, from the UCI World Cup Cross-Country to the Downieville Classic All-Mountain World Championship to the Score Baja 250 off-road race and beyond. Utilizing Fox's 40+ years of suspension expertise, Live Valve uses ultra-responsive electronic sensors to automatically and independently adjust the fork and shock as the terrain changes. Live Valve's advanced computer algorithm monitors the terrain 1000x per second and makes adjustments over 100x faster than the blink of a human eye, providing maximum efficiency and control, according to Fox. The system knows whether the bike is riding uphill, downhill or on flat terrain and optimizes the suspension accordingly. It also knows when the bike is being jumped and opens up the suspension in the air for a soft landing. Developed from the ground up by FOX's Advanced Products Group, Live Valve is changing the way riders interact with their suspension.

E-Live Valve will be available as OEM equipment from selected e-bike manufacturers from spring 2020. At Eurobike, for example, the system could be seen on the Simplon Rapcon PMax E-Fully.
