Mavic celebrates its 125th anniversary

One of the most traditional - and not least the best-selling - companies in the bicycle industry is celebrating its birthday: Mavic is already 125 years old. The French company is launching fresh anniversary editions and offering an insight into the company's history.

In 1889, Charles Idoux and Lucien Channel start a company that manufactures and distributes spare parts for bicycles... thus begins the story of Mavic, which is told on this website.

To celebrate the 125th anniversary in style, Mavic is offering a limited edition package with innovative products combined with an unmistakable design: The Ksyrium 125 wheel comes with a new rim shape, the new ISM 4D technology and the new Yksion Pro 125 tire.

The anniversary outfit, the so-called HC 125 combination, contains a completely new, innovative Ergo 3D seat pad for even more comfort in addition to the familiar materials.
