The key lies in the battery: instead of the familiar graphite anodes, the Morelle e-bike uses a silicon anode which, according to the manufacturer, stores significantly more energy and therefore enables high charging capacities. With a charging power of 1000 to 1500 watts and a current of up to 50 amps, the 350 Wh battery, which is permanently integrated into the down tube, can be fully charged in just a few minutes - a paradigm shift compared to classic e-bike chargers.

The bike is intended to appeal to an urban target group: The frame is made of aluminum and the scales stop at around 13.6 kilograms - so this electric bike is significantly lighter than many e-bikes. According to Morelle, the integrated mid-motor with high torque allows pedal assistance of up to 28 mph, i.e. around 45 km/h.

According to the manufacturer, sales and the first deliveries are set to start in the first quarter of 2026. The pre-order price is around 3,000 US dollars. The model can already be reserved for an initial, limited batch of 1000 e-bikes for a deposit, but is not approved for European markets.
