Stuff picks

How wide is a voluminous gravel tire—and where does it cross over into a cross-country tire? At Schwalbe, width is definitely the name of the game when it comes to gravel trails. Onza is rolling out new stock for the cult-favorite Porcupine tire. And anyone who’s ever really messed up installing a tire insert will definitely appreciate the clever tool from Cush Core.

Gravel Cross

Schwalbe’s G-one RS Pro tire in size 60-622 is recommended for gravel bikes with ample tire clearance as well as for cross-country mountain bikes. The focus is on maximum shock absorption and high versatility on challenging terrain. The fusion of gravel and mountain biking is complete.
