Event reports are always one of those things. Usually not a particularly attractive one. But Disentis Sedrun has trial legend Hans "No Way" Rey at the start. Could be fun after all. It's all about hiking and biking on the same trails and how well that works. I'm hoping for a few Hans Rey show interludes when pedestrians cross our paths.

And it gets even better. Ralph Näf is there, along with his wife and two youngest children, who firstly ride pretty damn well and secondly are also quite adept at arguing (ok, mine are even better at it). The youngest almost rides over me when she overshoots the berm behind which I have positioned myself to film.

In the afternoon, Hans and I are out in pairs, he with the motor, me without. My contribution to the fun is a trail exploration, a path that is marked on the map but almost unrecognizable in the terrain. The expedition gets stuck in the undergrowth. No way for Hans and me. In the end, we climb back up the slope. Hans Rey performs one last stunt on a boulder like the roof of a house. Just the thing for a 57-year-old on an e-bike. Unfortunately, only the POV shot has survived. But now you all have Hans No Way Rey's perspective for once.
