Now, following the release of the beefier 140 mm version last year, YT Industries have released the latest Uncaged version of the IZZO and are going in the exact opposite direction with the IZZO Uncaged 7. Weighing in at 11.4 kg/25.1 lbs (size S), this short-travel trail bike is a real rocket, especially on cross-country trails and climbs. This super-fast bike in Laser Yellow is limited to a total of 300 units worldwide, with the majority being offered in Europe and North America.

Geometry and frame

The IZZO Uncaged 7 is aimed at mountain bikers who want to get the maximum speed out on the trail. Its Ultra Modulus carbon frame was developed to defy all challenges and deliver maximum performance with minimum weight. Available in sizes S to XXL and with a reach of 432 mm to 517 mm, every rider will find the right frame size. The key features of the IZZO are its uphill performance, pedaling efficiency and low weight, without losing the playful gravity DNA that all YT bikes carry. The high-end fork is supported by the RockShox SIDLuxe Ultimate damper with 120 mm travel, which is designed for speed and was developed for all those who ride at full throttle on the trail. If you need an extra boost on flat terrain or uphill, you can lock out the fork and shock via the SRAM TwistLoc Full Sprint Remote to maximize propulsion. For a clean look and smooth shifting, the IZZO Uncaged 7 is equipped with the SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS groupset, with the SRAM Reverb AXS completing the overall wireless AXS package. Maximum speed requires maximum braking power, which is why SRAM's lightest four-piston brakes, the SRAM G2 Ultimate made of carbon and titanium, in conjunction with the SRAM CenterLine X rotors (180 mm/160 mm) ensure perfect modulation with an ideal power-to-weight ratio.
