The 4Cross Cup Association is proud to announce its collaboration with Bergamont. The 4Cross Cup has found a reliable partner in the mountain bike manufacturer. Bergamont has often been privileged in the 4x scene. For example, Bergamont is also the sponsor of reigning 4x Swiss champion Simon Waldburger.

The 4Cross Cup is slimming down this season. Last year there were six races, but this year only four will be held. Out of consideration for the already busy racing calendar, the organizers want to concentrate their efforts on fewer races and stage them more professionally. In addition, the club is already looking further ahead and is already trying to find new venues for 2015.One small change concerns the female Cup participants. Last year, the women competed together with the juniors, but now they have their own category. The only condition is that there must be five female participants at the start. Otherwise, the women will start with the juniors again. Due to the reduced number of races, it remains to be seen whether some events from the pump track area will be added to the Cup classification. The 4Cross Kids training course, which will be held together with a well-known elite rider, will be relaunched.

The 2014 4Cross Cup kicks off on April 26 in Homberg, Bern. It is the only race that will be held in the old, but no less attractive dual eliminator mode. The Homberg team is also hoping for better weather with the later date. The races in Winterthur, Leibstadt and Wolfach near the border will once again be held in 4x mode.
