The OC of the O-Tour Bike Marathon is offering a sporty start to the national holiday with a tour of the route. The meeting point is at 08:30 on August 1, 2014, at the coffee hut on the school grounds in Alpnach. From there, experienced guides will accompany the O-Tour bikers on the approximately 43-kilometer routes of the O-Tour marathon. An important detail is that the guides do not simply ride the tour, but give practical tips on line selection and technique.

The following options are available: The half marathon route, i.e. the first half of the marathon route via Alpnach - Langis to Sarnen, which takes around 3.5 hours, or the route via Kerns - Ächerli to Alpnach, the second half of the marathon, which also takes around 3.5 hours.

Participation is free of charge. Each mountain biker is responsible for their own catering. Insurance is also the responsibility of the participants.
