For the time being, the approaches to the SAC huts will be recorded. To do this, hikers will be out and about with an 18-kilogram camera backpack and record the routes. This will make it possible to create full panorama images that viewers can later move through interactively. Google has not (yet) announced when the data will be available and whether other routes will also be recorded. Such trail recordings from the Grand Canyon in the USA are already available.
