The Swiss Downhill Championships took place in Lenzerheide on Saturday as part of the iXS European Downhill Cup. The qualifying run counted towards the championship ranking. Due to the persistent rainfall the days before, the former World Cup course was more difficult than ever before. Lisa Baumann coped best with the conditions, taking the title for the first time in the absence of Camille Balanche. Silver and bronze went to Emma Iten and Jolanda Kiener. Janis Lehmann is the new Swiss champion in the men's event. He prevailed against Noel Niederberger and Yannick Bächler.
