Bianchi becomes victim of major fire

Just before the end of the year, Italian racing bike specialist Bianchi was dealt a heavy blow. When the warehouse of a transport company in Telgate/Bergamo burned down the day before yesterday, large amounts of Bianchi stock also fell victim to the fire.

As Bianchi writes on the company website, some important stocks were destroyed in the fire. However, no people were injured and bicycle production was not affected by the accident. According to Bianchi, there is still enough material to continue production of the new models without interruption. The company has already spoken to the component suppliers in order to fill the gaps in stock as quickly as possible.

Bianchi is already asking its dealers and customers for understanding and patience in the event of any delays in delivery. The company is confident that the backlog can be made up quickly, as no finished bikes from the new collection were destroyed in the fire.
