The federal decree on bicycles will be put to the vote on September 23. This provides for cycle paths to be treated the same as hiking trails by law. In a first and second opinion poll conducted by the research institute gfs.bern, it looks as though this decision will be accepted. Only the SVP opposes the bill, but according to the survey, this camp will not succeed in mobilizing voters beyond its own party to vote no.
