Not everyone likes the current e-bike trend, and fat bikes are not everyone's favorite either. But what if both are combined in one? We wanted to find out and put a Felt E-Fatbike through its paces last winter and also covered a few kilometers on dry surfaces.

What was missing from the Felt portfolio until now was a bike in the 140 millimeter travel range. With the Decree, the Americans are now delivering a magnificent all-mountain bike. Light, stiff, with sensible details and its own approach to the suspension system.

More and more manufacturers are also opting for 29-inch wheels for trail bikes, defying the call for 27.5-inch wheels. US bike manufacturer Felt is also following this path out of conviction and, with the "Virtue Nine 1", has created a twentyniner trail bike with 130 millimetres of rear travel and 140 millimetres of front travel.

In addition to the carbon 29er "Edict LTD" this spring, Felt is presenting a new "Compulsion" at Eurobike. The enduro bike is now also all about carbon instead of fitness.

Another cross-country team is emerging in Switzerland that is making a strong effort to recruit young talent. This time it is Felt, which is presenting the "JB Felt Team", an eight-strong squad from Switzerland and Germany.

Thomas Litscher is joining the "Felt Ötztal X-Bionic Worldcup Team" for the coming season. The 21-year-old Litscher is one of the strongest young riders in Switzerland and won the world and European championship titles in the junior class in 2007. At this year's World Championships, Litscher won the silver medal.

The new Compulsion model series presents itself with a weight-optimized frame and lightweight add-on parts. The bikes are not only significantly lighter, but also visually more aggressive and sportier. While riders now have 150 millimetres at their disposal at the front, everything remains the same at the rear.

The bicycle manufacturer Felt announces the immediate termination of the cooperation with "AB ProCycling", which was responsible for the management of the "Felt International MTB Team". The reason given is financial, in particular the non-payment of wages to athletes. These non-payments led to Andreas Kugler and Jürg Graf leaving the racing team at the end of April.

Following the departure of Jürg Graf and Andreas Kugler from Team Felt due to outstanding salary payments, Antonio Brozzu is now commenting on the dispute for the first time. He explains that two of his main sponsors have withdrawn due to the economic crisis, leaving a noticeable gap in the budget. A solution is being worked out and the team is confident of success in the coming years.

After a year with the Felt women's racing team, Nathalie Schneitter is moving to the Italian racing team Colnago. There she will meet riders such as Eva Lechner and Evelyn Staffler, who, like Schneitter, are hoping to qualify for the Olympics. The team has a lot of experience with young female racers and offers a professional environment for them to pursue their goals even more consistently.

The fact that former junior world champion Nathalie Schneitter is switching from Rocky Mountain to Felt bikes has been known since the last races of the season at the latest. Now the team has announced and confirmed the entire line-up: Team X.0-Felt will be an all-female team from next season. Franziska Röthlin is also joining the racing team.

So-called "beach cruisers" could be seen at a striking number of stands. Thanks to their wide saddles and handlebars, these technically simple bikes allow for comfortable and relaxed cycling and ensure that their owners attract a lot of attention in traffic. At the Felt stand, this spectacular one-off, which unfortunately will never be available to buy, was particularly eye-catching: The telescopic fork is as endlessly long as the chain, the attention to detail from the golden anodized rims to the gimmicks integrated into the tank dummy such as a clock and a small gearshift is breathtaking. Of course, Felt also offers a further expanded fleet of standard cruisers.

In Germany, the FELT brand has long since made a name for itself for freshly designed, sharply calculated bikes and BMX bikes, not to mention the strong BMX show team around Salto man Timo Pritzel. From September 2002, the north-eastern Swiss importer Amsler & Co. AG wants to help the brand make a breakthrough in Switzerland too.

After this year's eclat surrounding Felt's international mountain bike team, the US manufacturer is back in top-level sport and, according to its own statements, wants to build the strongest cross-country racing team in the world over the next few years. At the same time, an attractive product package is intended to create the largest hobby racing team in mountain biking.
