Pirelli presents two new cross-country mountain bike tires, the Scorpion XC RC and the Scorpion XC M, which are manufactured entirely in Italy for the first time and contain FSC-certified natural rubber. Both models combine ecological responsibility with top technical performance and are aimed at ambitious racers as well as sporty leisure bikers.

The Italian tire manufacturer Pirelli and Bike Kingdom are launching a special edition of the Scorpion Race Enduro tire. The robust 29x2.5 inch tire is designed for mixed terrain and comes with its own branding and is now available in selected stores and via the Bike Kingdom app.

The Walter Mountainbike Team from Sulgen and the Thurgau sporting goods importer CHRIS sports are starting the 2024 mountain bike season together. The team from the Swiss municipality of Sulgen is now competing under the name "Mondraker Walter Mountainbike Team" and will be equipped from "head to profile" with products from the CHRIS sports range.

Pirelli has completely revised its range of enduro tires for 2023. Three models have been given a new rubber compound and three completely new tires have been launched for racing use. The lightest and heaviest of the new collection had to prove themselves in the Alps.

Pirelli will equip the athletes of the Trek Factory Racing Team with mountain bike tires. By signing the three-year contract, Pirelli and Trek are further expanding their collaboration that began in 2020 with the Trek-Segafredo World Tour team.

The "Wilier Triestina Pirelli Factory Team" officially unveils the new jersey. Some new team riders will also be wearing this color explosion.

The "Wilier Triestina - Pirelli Factory Team" presents a team of eight athletes. Four of them are mainly dedicated to marathon races, while the others will compete in the Cross-Country World Cup and the most important Italian cross-country races. One of them is Swiss rider Janis Baumann: "I'm super motivated to tackle the 2022 season on the new Wilier bike. It's going to be an exciting year with lots of big races."

The Pirelli Scorpion XC RC line is getting ready for heavy tracks and more suspension travel: the cross-country tire is now also available in a 2.4 inch tire width to meet the trend towards wide rims. The new 29x2.4" variant is available in the Lite version, for those who want lightness, or in the ProWall version for those who require more protection on the sides and particularly good cornering stability.

A hose is black, heavy and a bit smelly. This is due to the widely used butyl, which gives the hose its color, smell and properties. But there is another way: with a different material called TPU. This lightens the tube enormously and ensures minimal packing dimensions.

Pirelli is working on a new line specifically designed for gravity racing. In the long process of research and prototype production, which began two years ago and is now in the final stages of development, the engineers at Pirelli have involved an absolute downhill luminary: the Frenchman Fabien Barel.
