Yeti is ushering in a new generation of trail bikes: The new MT succeeds the successful SB140 and, with Sixfinity, adopts the rear triangle platform that has already proven itself on the e-mountain bike and the recently unveiled LT. It also features 140 millimeters of travel, a 160-millimeter fork, and numerous tuning options.

Yeti is bringing the Sixfinity platform—known from racing and e-mountain biking—to the new LT family. The new enduro model features a six-bar rear suspension, adjustable progression, a choice of wheel configurations, storage space in the frame, and a carbon frame from the high-end Turq series.

Chrigel Braun's bike bunker is full of monuments to mountain bike history. He has 100 bikes, and his fellow tenants have ten more. But now Zurich wants the underground civil defense facility back and Chrigel is looking for a new treasure trove.

On June 28 and 29, the Bellwald Bike Park and Rodeo Bike will be hosting the legendary Riding High Festival. The bike park will be fully open, the hottest brands will be bringing their test bikes and raclette, barbecue, cold beer and a party will be provided.

It all started in 1985: the cult brand Yeti rolled into the bike business. Now there are forty candles on the birthday cake - and a jubilee bike in the starting blocks that is something to be proud of.

The US American Matt Opperman did not return from a bike tour on January 25. After a search lasting more than three weeks, the Yeti Race Team mechanic, who lived in Málaga, was found dead. The cause of death is still unknown.

The Yeti ASR was launched in 2000, was last relaunched in 2015 and replaced three years later by the SB100. After that, it was quiet in the cross-country segment. Now it's time to get back on a Yeti with Lycra, the new ASR is here, faster and lighter than ever.

With the brand new ASR, Yeti is returning to cross-country racing - and how. The bike looks - and the manufacturer is frank and honest in admitting this - very similar to its competitors. But under the hood, the Yeti engineers have completely rethought the bike.

Yeti is not exactly modest and describes the SB140 as "the" mountain bike. With a claim like that, everything cries out for a long-term test. The SB140 was in continuous use for numerous product tests from April to the end of October 2023.

Many bike clips are a seemingly endless series of action-packed scenes. But there is another way: In  "Café Americano" Yeti Cycles show in grand cinematic style what mountain bike films can also look like. Impressed by a photo of his father taken in the Dolomites, twenty years later a rider named Shawn Neer sets off in search of the perfect Italian café and, of course, perfect trails.

Little shredders take note: With the new SB 135, Yeti is launching a trail bike that is not fully geared towards racing and rolls onto the starting line with a rather rare S and XS frame. Of course, taller riders could also have fun with the new bike.

From Richie Rude's beginnings on the east coast of the USA, to winning the Junior World Downhill Championship title in 2013, to switching to enduro racing, where the 28-year-old won the World Series twice in a row: "Roots run deep" gives an insight into Rude's life beyond the race tracks and shows that his roots in the mountain bike world run deep and lead him back to the Downhill World Cup.

The brand new SB160 enduro bike recently rolled into Yeti's range - and there's no end in sight for new bikes. Because the SB120 and SB140 have been announced by the cult brand. Yeti praises the SB140 as an all-rounder and deliberately avoids naming it a category, referring to the new bike as a mountain bike in a very understated way.

Since 2018, the SB150 has been the enduro bike in Yeti's lineup. And now the successor is on its way: Yeti is not reinventing its enduro bike, but with the SB160 is delivering a bike that promises even better handling, even more safety downhill and even better uphill performance. Despite the extensive update, some parts are fortunately quite old-fashioned: for example, the bolted bottom bracket or the shock link with standard bearings.

Yeti really took its time developing its first e-MTB. It took more than five years and six different prototypes before the 160E was launched on the market. It was the first e-mountain bike designed specifically for racing. As only a handful of people compete in E-Enduro races, one wonders whether such a development makes sense.

Yeti has been building mountain bikes since 1985. Until now, the cult manufacturer from Colorado has consistently steered clear of the electric mountain bike trend. But that is now a thing of the past: the Yeti SB160E is here. The E-Fully is skillfully staged - not only does it have the usual visual appeal, but there is also a lot of know-how in the chassis in particular.

Yeti is following the current trend towards down-country bikes and presented the SB115 back in 2020. Yeti is taking a different approach to most manufacturers. Rather than launching a completely new model, the cult brand is "upcycling" its SB100 cross-country model: a new link and a matching shock and that's it. No, nothing good. Extremely good!

The newly launched SB115 heralds a new era of racing according to Yeti. The 115 stands for the rear suspension travel, which is super efficient to pedal, but also takes everything in its path on the descents. According to Yeti, you don't need a race number to race, just enough altitude meters up and down and the will to get them over with as quickly as possible. And, of course, the new SB115.

Yeti presents two new bikes: With the SB150, the cult brand is bringing a genuine, contemporary enduro bike that should prove itself on 29er wheels and a 150/170 suspension on EWS routes. The SB130 also has 29er wheels and wants to tackle difficult terrain, even if there are more climbing skills involved.
