On March 10, 2020, the State Ministry of Health of North Rhine-Westphalia banned events with more than 1,000 participants, and the Cyclingworld Düsseldorf bicycle trade fair fell victim to this regulation to contain the corona epidemic. In March 2019, around 240 exhibitors and over 13,000 square meters of indoor exhibition space and an equally large outdoor test area attracted visitors to Düsseldorf.
