As Cannondale writes in a press release, product management will be completely relocated back to the company headquarters in the USA this spring. The restructuring will affect three employees who will now work in Bethel/Conneticut. Previously, Cannondale had developed numerous bicycle models with a focus on urban bikes and trekking in Switzerland for more than fifteen years. All other departments in Allschwil, i.e. marketing and sales for the EU and Switzerland, will remain there.

At the same time as the restructuring, Cannondale has announced two new appointments at the top level of the company. Robert Burbank will now lead the company as General Manager. He joins Cannondale from snowboard manufacturer Burton. The second new appointment to a top position at Cannondale is Frank Hwang, who will be responsible for global activities in this field as Marketing Director.
