Following the departure of Frenchman Maxime Marotte, the Cannondale team has not shrunk. Manuel Fumic and Henrique Avancini were announced for the 2021 season in the previous year. Now the South African Alan Hatherly and Simon Andreassen from Denmark have joined them. Both newcomers shone with excellent results and a victory in the two 2020 World Cup races respectively.
