For the opening race of the 2024 season, the Argovia Vittoria Fischer Cup makes a stop in Ticino, in Capriasca. Local Filippo Colombo doesn't need to be asked twice about a race on his doorstep. He defies the muddy conditions the best and wins ahead of Simon Walter and Nick Burki. Paula Gorycka takes victory in the women's race ahead of Jana Glaus and Chrystelle Baumann.
