Dietsch remains with Bianchi

Thomas Dietsch is once again riding for the Italian team Bianchi-Agos. The Frenchman signed a one-year contract in the last few days. Dietsch had previously also been linked with teams from Spain and Switzerland.

The long-distance specialist from Alsace became French marathon champion for the first time in 2006. He is also no stranger to Switzerland. His palmares include victory in the 2005 Swiss Bike Masters, and this year Dietsch decided the O-Tour in his favor

Dietsch's finest hour came at the 2003 Marthon World Championships in Lugano. With the deserved title in sight, the Frenchman suffered a tragic breakdown a few kilometers from the finish. The victory he thought was certain then went to Thomas Frischknecht.
