The European Enduro racing series is entering its second year under the management of organizer Trailsolutions and has new venues to offer. As in the previous season, the race series will kick off on April 23, 2016 in Punta Ala, Italy. The season will kick off just under a month earlier with the prologue in Dolceaqua (ITA). The series will make its second stop in Sweden, in the well-known ski resort of Åre, which will replace the event in Sölden.

The third race, the 3-Country Enduro, will once again take place in the border triangle of Austria, Italy and Switzerland on the Reschen Pass. This race is also one of the most popular enduro events in Europe across all series. After Reschen there is a longer break, after which the race continues in France. Once again close to the Swiss border, the fourth race will be held in mid-October in Alsace. Two weeks later, the series ends in Spain. After the premiere in Kirchberg, the second official European Enduro Championships will be held in Italy, in Riva del Garda. This race has not been very popular with the participants so far. Poor routing and parallel use of the course with the marathon race in Riva were heavily criticized. As a result, the many voices of riders calling for another enduro race to be held in Riva were not heeded.Although there is the possibility, it is probably the last chance to clear the name of Riva in enduro racing. There are opportunities for good and weatherproof tracks, as well as a good course layout where there are no collisions with other races during the BIKE Festival. The foundations are therefore in place for a championship-worthy event.Dates EES + EM
