Bikeflip is an online trading platform for bikes that has already helped thousands of bikes find a new owner. With the launch of the new Bikeflip app, millions of people can now discover how easy and safe it is to buy or sell their bikes in Italy, Austria and Germany.

Bikeflip was founded in Innsbruck in September 2021 and is the universal, state-of-the-art marketplace for trading used and new bikes. The idea was born when mountain and trial bike pros Wibmer and Andrea Maranelli and their business partner Nikolai Holder sat together one evening and wondered why buying and selling bikes was so complicated. The trio noticed that, unlike the automotive market, there was no dedicated portal in Europe where bikes could be traded in a simple and friendly way.

Bikeflip was founded on the principles of the circular economy, in which reuse is a priority. 18 months after the launch of the website, almost 10,000 bikes are currently available. But the trio are not content with that and are shifting up a few gears with the launch of the new app and the planned expansion into other European markets.
