The two Beer brothers from Matten near Interlaken are among the most talented juniors in Switzerland, which they impressively underlined at the last Swiss Championships in Scuol: Quick-Nick won the junior downhill title, while his brother Marcel, who is two years older, secured the dual elite championship title against far more experienced competitors. Marcel, who had to take a break in the spring due to a broken forearm, also won the bronze medal in the junior downhill at the European Championships in Graz against strong competition.

In Janez Grasic, Ueli Guntli and Daniela Bossard, the Intercycle racing team iXS sports division already has some hot irons in the fire. In the current season, Intercycle has also supported two other top riders, René Wildhaber and Marielle Saner, with iXS brand clothing. The fact that the Sursee-based company has now signed two more promising riders is only logical in view of the greatly expanded BiXS product range - but as a look at the Swiss racing scene shows, it is anything but a matter of course.
