The iXS Downhill Cup in Ilmenau also counted as the German Championships, which brought surprising twists and turns in the women's race. The title went to Raphaela Richter, while the top favorite Nina Hoffmann came away empty-handed after a spectacular crash. Richter won ahead of Helen Weber and Hanna Blochberger. In the men's competition, defending champion Henry Kiefer kept his horses together and won the title once again. Hannes Lehmann and Julian Steiner took the places of honor.
