The MT brake series undergoes a striking transformation to become the MT Next generation. Although it is even lighter, it is also more ergonomic and individual than before. However, the focus of the revolutionized bike brake models is still on the aspect of absolute safety in everyday life and in extreme riding situations.

Highlights of the new generation include a lever width that can be adjusted without tools and an adjustable pressure point, which improve ergonomics and perfect the controllability of the braking force. Four-piston brake calliper technology has also been added to the existing portfolio.

Powerful MT5 and MT7 models
The new Magura performance models from the Swabian premium manufacturer promise maximum braking power in extreme situations with minimum weight - regardless of whether they are used on e-bikes with over 25 km/h support power or on downhill bikes. The MT5 is the entry-level model in this area. It uses the proven four-piston technology from motorcycle racing. Magura uses not two, but four individual brake pads per brake calliper. This results in better heat dissipation and therefore better and more sustained braking performance.

The MT7 is absolute top class in terms of braking performance and stability in trail, enduro or downhill use. Here too, four brake pistons enable precise modulation of the disc brake. Tool-free adjustable two-finger brake levers made of aluminum make the Magura performance flagship a safe companion on extreme tours.

Lots of bite with low weight
With the models of the new MT-NEXT generation, Magura relies on a powerful braking effect for maximum safety. The powerful, hydraulic disc brakes can cope with everyday sporty riding and difficult downhill sections. The standard MT2 safety brake offers maximum comfort and reliability in city traffic or on cross-country tours thanks to improved lever ergonomics and impact-resistant Carbotecture® housing.

One of the lightest and strongest brakes in the eBike up to 25 km/h and mountain bike segments, the MT4 is the all-rounder among the MT-NEXT models. This new disc brake is designed to impress with particularly high stability and constant braking performance during long braking operations, ensuring a safe feeling on the road and off-road.

The forged 2-piston brake calliper of the MT6 offers maximum stability in every situation. Thanks to the simple and tool-free adjustment options for lever width and pressure point, the brake is optimally adjusted to the preferences of the respective rider and offers maximum safety with low weight. The elegant look of the forged calliper through to the Carbotecture® SL Master is a highlight for any bike.

Thanks to its all-carbon construction, the MT8 is a true featherweight among disc brakes. The ergonomic full carbon two-finger brake lever and handlebar clamp of the lightest product in the MT-NEXT range also enable precise braking.
