On two winter evenings, the ski slopes on Flumserberg will be open to mountain bikers as part of the SnowBike NightRides. On January 30 and February 27, 2026, mountain and fat bikers will be able to ride downhill between Prodalp and Tannenheim at night.

October is often one of the highlights of the MTB season. While the mountain railroads have already closed in France or Italy, the season lasts until the end of October, especially in Switzerland. Here are the shuttle tips for October.

Biking with like-minded people, riding technique training with former bike pro René Wildhaber and lots of variety off the bike await young people aged 11 to 16 at the BikerFüchse camps on the Flumserberg. The two-day camps take place twice during the fall vacations - on Monday/Tuesday, October 6-7, 2025 or on Thursday/Friday, October 9-10, 2025

The highlight for the whole family on the BikerBerg Flumserberg is on the program on Saturday, 9 August 2025. At the family fun race, part of the BlueSalamander BikerTrail is mastered together - whereby the time ridden is of secondary importance.

The Flumserberg mountain railroads will open the 2025 bike season with the BlueSalamander BikerTrail on the Ascension weekend. Full daily operation - with all BikerTrails expected - will start on Saturday, June 7, 2025. Two bike events will also take place at the start of the full season: the two-day free bike test at Tannenheim and the "Ladies only" BikerQueen event with a riding technique course and bike mech workshop.

Ten years ago, mountain bikers had their first chance to ride down the slopes of Flumserberg. After it was initially unclear whether the event would attract guests, it has now been firmly entered in some calendars. The next SnowBike NightRide events will take place on January 31 and February 28. A free light test will also be offered for the first time.

The Snowbike Nightrides on Flumserberg are back. On three dates, December 27, 2024, January 31 and February 28, 2025, between 7 and 9 p.m., mountain bikers will be allowed on the slopes, which are otherwise reserved for skiers and snowboarders. The winter mountain bike experience will take place on the slopes from Prodalp to Tannenheim, and only with tires without metal spikes.

This Saturday (10 August), families - including godparents, uncles, aunts, neighbors and friends - can ride a section of the BlueSalamanders trail together from 11 a.m. as a fun race. Despite the race, all trails are open on race day. Guests will be rerouted along the lowest part of the trail for two hours.

BikerBerg ambassador René Wildhaber organized the iXS Digger Days in his home town of Flumserberg together with his long-standing outfitter, the iXS brand from Sursee in Lucerne. At the end of June, five bike enthusiasts joined René and the BikerCrew to build a jump training facility - a three-stage drop battery - the iXS Digger Drops.

The Bikerberg Flumserberg is one of the first mountain railroads to switch from winter to summer mode this year. Weekend operation will be launched at Whitsun, followed by full daily operation from June 8.

The bikes are already turning briskly in spring, but you often have to wait a little longer until the first mountain railroads open. But not this year, because some bike parks are already opening at Easter and promise trail fun without Easter traffic jams on the Gotthard.

While biting temperatures are still sweeping through the Alps, at Ride all signs are already pointing to summer trail fun. The first 2024 issue is currently in print, and this marks a small "turning point".

On December 29, the Flumserberge will kick off the bike season - with the traditional Nightrides. The event series starts on the last Friday of 2023, with the ski slopes from Prodalp to Tannenheim and the floodlit toboggan run open in the evening. The Prodalp gondola lift is responsible for the ascent.

The Flumserberg mountain railroads start partial weekend operations at Whitsun with the "Floomzer" toboggan run, the "Cliimber" climbing tower, the BlueSalamander biking trail and the corresponding cable car facilities. Several restaurants on the mountain, such as the Prodalp mountain restaurant, the Colors restaurant and bar and the Molseralp restaurant, cater for your physical well-being. The Intersport Network Flumserberg branches are looking forward to presenting their new summer collections and the BikerShop Flumserberg is offering a Transalpes bike test at the BlueSalamander opening.

Beatrice Egli is a ramp queen and at home on the stages of the pop world. Now the 34-year-old is switching to the bike trail. At least for the time being on behalf of Switzerland Tourism. It's up to us to decide which bike trail Beatrice Egli will be hurtling down this summer.

On the weekend of August 20 and 21, 2022, the BikerFestival will return to Flumserberg in its original form. At the Expo in Tannenheim, you can test, inform, network, buy, dance and play. Mountain bikers of all ages can look forward to a varied and diverse program on and off the trails, and the FlumsiTeamRace and BikerHillClimb fun competitions will be held again.

On August 28 and 29, the BikerFestival rolls over the trails on Flumserberg. The highlights: A section of the Red Fox Trail, which has been groomed by René Wildhaber and volunteers, will be opened and there will be prizes to be won on a stamp hunt through the whole area, as well as riding fun.

Almost unnoticed and after years of searching for a solution, a descent to Unterterzen was opened on the Flumserberg this summer. It is not considered a trail, but purely a feeder route, but offers some riding fun and clearly surpasses the blue and red trails on the BikerBerg in terms of difficulty.

Mountain bike professional René Wildhaber has been riding mountain bikes for more than 30 years. However, he not only loves riding trails, but also plans and builds them with enthusiasm. To do this with like-minded people, he launched the "Red Bull DIY" project in summer 2020. The result is a fun trail section on the BikerBerg Flumserberg.

No bike festivals in 2020? Wrong: three events have been announced and are already starting this weekend in Parpan. After that, the festivals in Verbier and Flumserberg will continue at weekly intervals.

The mountain bike scene in Sarganserland will be actively involved in trail maintenance in future. Thanks to the #Wägmacher project, the commitment to an attractive and well-maintained trail network is promoted by organizing and financially supporting maintenance work.

The BikerBerg Flumserberg announces that all trails are ready to ride and all necessary lifts will be in operation from Saturday, June 22. As usual, the beginner-friendly Blue Salamander and the medium-difficulty RedFox and RedRock are located opposite the Churfirsten mountain range. All trails co-designed and run in by René Wildhaber.

On August 24 and 25, Flumserberg will be all about mountain biking. With the premiere of the "BikerFestival", it's all about on and off the trails. A bike expo, testing opportunities, workshops, guided tours and fun races are on the program.

On the Ascension weekend from 30 May to 2 June 2019, Flumserberg will start a special 2019 summer season with a partial operation and will also open the first bike trail. On 8 June, the Flumserberg mountain railroads will then start daily summer operations.

The mountain bike season is being extended on Flumserberg - at least for three evenings. On December 28, 2018, January 18 and February 22, 2019, the mountain railroads and ski slopes from Prodalp to Tannenheim will be open to mountain bikers. The Snowbike Nightrides will be rounded off with music and drinks in the "sonderbar" at the Tannenheim valley station.

From the coming Whitsun weekend, Flumserberg will kick off the bike season and put the BlueSalamander Trail and the Prodalp-Express gondola lift into operation. Despite the snowy winter, more than 40 bends can already be ridden on the almost four-kilometer-long trail from Prodalp to Tannenheim. Daily operation starts on June 9, as Flumserberg writes in its press release.

Megavalanche and enduro legend René Wildhaber is inviting eight young, talented mountain bikers to his home next weekend to share tips and tricks about mountain biking. This is part of his young talent development program called "Wildi's Füchse".

On Saturday, July 1, 2017, the opening of the new biker trails from Prodkamm will take place on the "BikerBerg Flumserberg". After the opening ceremony on Prodalp, the 8-seater chairlift will transport mountain bikers to the Prodkamm for the first time, from where the new trails start. This will extend the "BikerBerg Flumserberg" trail network to a total of 13 kilometers.

"SnowBike NightRide" is the name of the rendezvous on Flumserberg, where mountain bikers have exclusive access to the slopes from Prodalp to Tannenheim on two evenings. On Friday, January 27 and Friday, February 24, 2017, the slopes will once again be open exclusively for all snow mountain bikers.
