The third SnowBike NightRide saw a new record number of participants. The 165 bikers completed around 700 descents in the 2 hours and were delighted to have the opportunity to ride all the slopes from Prodalp to Tannenheim in the best conditions. The film premiere #mtbheroes by René Wildhaber also attracted a lot of interest from bikers and nature lovers alike.

For the third SnowBike NightRide, all ski slopes and the floodlit toboggan run from Prodalp to Tannenheim were available to snow bikers for speedy descents in the snow. Bergbahnen Flumserberg AG's decision to open up all the ski slopes paid off. 165 bikers enjoyed the perfect piste conditions and rode a total of 700 descents - accident-free and without incident. Even the full moon provided some natural light on the slopes. All gondolas - each of which accommodated three participants and their bikes - were fully utilized for 2.5 hours.

190 spectators wanted to see the film premiere

The film was shown at 8.00 pm and 9.30 pm in the large hall of the Hotel Bruggmann. René Wildhaber, the local MTB pro, presented his 26-minute documentary #mtbheroes to interested viewers. The combination of fascinating images of nature from Flumserberg and Madeira and total bike action triggered enthusiastic reactions from 190 viewers. European Enduro champion Wildhaber himself was on site to talk about his experiences during the filming on the sidelines of the screenings.
