Ride cracks the million mark with the tour database

Mountain biking is going through the roof this summer. Ride is also feeling the effects and is reporting an all-time high with its tour database. In 2020, over one million tours have already been accessed. This represents an increase of a whopping 40 percent.

Many mountain bike manufacturers have run out of stock, bike stores are only working with waiting lists and the cash registers at bike hotels are ringing. This is the summer of 2020, and it is also leaving its mark on Ride. This is because Ride's tour database comes into play when customers leave the store or hotel guests set off on their bikes in the morning. And in the last few days, a symbolic sound barrier has been broken here: the million mark for views of the database entries. A tour has been accessed more than 1,000,000 times since January.

The clear upward trend in tours is also reflected in the number of hits on the website as a whole: For several months now, the monthly page views of Ride.ch have been over 600,000. Here too, as with the tours, an increase of 40 percent can be seen compared to the previous year.
