"I have always felt very comfortable in the Specialized team. It's the balance between super-professional work, excellent material and the relaxed atmosphere that makes the team what it is," comments Sauser on his contract extension. He now wants to devote himself fully to cross-country racing once again in order to close this chapter in his long career at the end of next season. He is looking forward to the time with an exclusive focus on marathon races, with competitions such as the Cape Epic, the World Championships, the US race Leadville and other major classics among his goals.
