Four stages, including a sprint race with a gradient of up to 30 percent, lots of single trails and exciting team battles: that's the "Costablanca Bike Race 2015". The women's race is the first test for Corina Gantenbein and Kathrin Stirnemann. This shows that the two are already at operating temperature and the Gantenbein/Stirnemann duo wins every stage without exception. However, they are no strangers to the competition. Second place went to Anne Terpstra from the Netherlands and Yana Belomoina from Ukraine, who is one of the world's best U23 riders.

"We are delighted with this success,″ explains Kathrin Stirnemann, who is already interpreting this victory in the direction of the Cape Epic. "There were also women's teams competing here who will be at the Cape Epic. It's good to know that you can compete with these teams." Gantenbein and Stirnemann can outpace their rivals, especially in the technically difficult parts of the race. "These races fit perfectly into our training preparation. The new Haibike material has proven itself perfectly," summarizes Corina Gantenbein.
