It was one of the highlights of the Ride Mountain Bike Congress in October 2014: presenter Roland Anderegg asked the audience who would take a trip to the Czech trail center Rychlebské Stezky. All those present rose to their feet. Allegra Tourism has taken this scene to heart and is now organizing a study trip to the most successful trail center in Europe.

Ten years in four days
The four-day study trip is packed with knowledge from over ten years of mountain bike destination development. Allegra Tourism looks back on ten years of consulting in destinations such as Livigno, Alta Rezia, St. Moritz, Graubünden and many more. Darco Cazin and his team teach participants the basics of mountain bike tourism and show them the way to a successful business with trails and bikers. The trail center Rychlebské Stezky was chosen, among other things, because it is considered a prime example of the art of trail building. But the impressive number of over 40,000 visitors per year is also worth a visit. During the stay in Rychlebské Stezky, trail boss Pavel Hornik will allow a look behind the scenes and participants can take a closer look at specific aspects in small groups.

Trails as a key factor
The example of the Czech trail center shows that the right trails are the key to success. The region is extremely poor and poorly developed. Apart from the trails, there are no attractions - and yet thousands of visitors come here. In fact, the quality of the trails is the only reason why mountain bikers travel or spend their vacation in a destination. This insight is a key factor in the success of a tourism project and can be experienced first-hand on this study tour.
