Until now, the mobile app on iPhones and Android devices always required data reception in order to display the maps. This sometimes resulted in long loading times, or foreigners without roaming could not use the services at all. Now the map data can be downloaded at a scale of up to 1:25,000 before the tour and the app can then be used in offline mode. However, the section per download is limited and relates to an area of approximately 10 by 10 kilometers. Several download processes are therefore necessary to obtain the data for an entire mountain bike tour.
