First impression
Although Ion created the long pants for freeride and downhill use, the cut is very close to the body. The 4-way stretch contains the miracle material graphene, which is otherwise found in tires or brake pads. It is designed to increase the tear resistance of the fabric. It is Bluesign and Oekotex certified. The "Scrub Amp" is reinforced in the seat area, has numerous ventilation openings and a ratchet fastener on the waistband. In use
Thanks to the very elastic 4-way stretch, even large knee pads fit easily under the classic cut trousers and do not constrict when riding. Specialized Trail MTB rain jacket

First impression
The hooded jacket is made from a 2.5-layer material consisting of 90 percent polyester and 10 percent spandex. It has a DWR coating and a waterproof inner membrane. The bike-specific cut is optimized for the sitting position. Nevertheless, the "Trail MTB" is longer at the front than many other rain jackets. This means that the layers underneath don't get too wet when standing. The breast pocket easily holds a cell phone. The jacket is available in three colors and five sizes.

In use
The Specialized rain jacket is comfortable to wear thanks to its light weight. It does not constrict even during very active riding. The hood fits well over the helmet. In combination with the high-cut collar, this provides excellent protection from the wind. Breathability is average and the jacket can withstand light rain without any problems. If it rains for hours or pours down like a bucket, it unfortunately lets the rain through.

Conclusion
The trail rain jacket from Specialized does well in changeable weather, providing excellent protection against cold wind and light rain. Thanks to its small pack size, it even fits into small backpacks.

In use
The lightweight protectors are barely noticeable on the knee and the cuffs ensure a good fit and do not get in the way at all. Women with slim legs are often confronted with the fact that the protectors start to slip after some time in the saddle, not so the "Air Flows". And thanks to the small volume, they even fit in a hip bag.

Conclusion
The Poc protectors are so comfortable on the body that it's better to put them on "once too often" than risk scratches. If something does go wrong, a minimum level of protection is guaranteed. For rides in the bike park, more heavily padded protectors should be used.
