The reason for bringing the testRIDE forward to August 24 to 26 is, on the one hand, the Mountain Bike World Championships from September 5 to 9, 2018, which will use the same event site. On the other hand, thanks to the earlier staging of the Eurobike exhibition in Friedrichshafen, the 2019 test bikes will be available earlier for once. And while major manufacturers such as Trek, Cube and Cannondale were conspicuous by their absence at Eurobike, they will be at the start of testRIDE with a large test fleet.

At the testRIDE, the latest models for the 2019 season will be lined up for test rides at the manufacturers' stands. Once again this year, over 40 exhibitors with around 50 different bike brands and over 70 accessory brands will be taking part. At testRIDE, you can choose not only from mountain bikes, but also e-bikes, gravel and trekking bikes and racing bikes. The latest innovations from the bike industry can be put through their paces on five signposted test tracks. Various exhibitors also offer the opportunity to test accessories on site. The testRIDE is also the perfect platform to talk to the bike manufacturers and get a good dose of insider information.

The test area is open from 9 am to 4 pm. Registration in advance is not necessary. Test material can be obtained from the exhibitors on presentation of a valid ID card.

The event will be rounded off with the legendary testRIDE party on Saturday evening from 9 pm in the Kurhaus Lenzerheide. This year's theme is "Nintendo Bash". Anyone who turns up dressed as Mario, Donkey Kong or Sonic will not only have fun, but also a free drink, courtesy of the Kurhaus.www.testride.ch
