The organizers of the "Flückiger Cross" in Madiswil can boast a star-studded elite field. The namesakes of the event, Lukas and Mathias Flückiger, who won the silver and bronze medals at the World Championships in Austria last year, have succeeded in attracting well-known riders to Madiswil. In addition to Julien Absalon, the most successful mountain biker of all time, Ralph Näf, Florian Vogel and Simon Zahner will also be at the start.

Last year's winner Marcel Wildhaber is also keen to challenge these riders, as he knows exactly what it takes to triumph on this tough course around the Neumatt schoolhouse in Madiswil. The rider presentation will begin on November 17, 2013 at 2.30 pm at the finish line. The high-caliber field of riders will be sent out onto the attractive course at 2.45 pm. In addition to the aforementioned riders, U23 World Championship silver medalist Julian Schelb (GER) has also announced his participation.
