The "Plume" mudguard was created on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform with the support of 1,446 so-called backers, who provided initial funding of around 56,000 US dollars. The result is impressive: The mudguard can be rolled up under the saddle to save space on dry roads and even offers safety with its integrated reflector. When it rains, simply unroll it and you have protection for your back and backside!

The motto for mounting is one size fits all. Thanks to stretchable silicone, the mount fits seatposts with diameters of 27.2mm - 31.6mm. The materials used are stainless steel and silicone. The rolled out mudguard measures 526mm in length and 78mmm in width. The weight is a simple 140 grams.

The "Plume", designed in London, is available from the Swiss import and distribution company Element Sports and therefore from specialist bike dealers, where the price tag reads CHF 39.90
