The car manufacturer Rivian is one of the great hopes of electromobility and is known for its electrified pickup. Rivian has now launched a kitchen element for this that would make any camper green with envy. A complete kitchen with induction hob can be pulled out of the side of the pickup - how cool is that?

Rivian sees itself as the big Tesla competitor and made a name for itself with its IPO at the beginning of November 2021. The company raised 12 billion dollars with the IPO and is now worth over 100 billion dollars. The unconventional car manufacturer has enormous hopes, and is also known for its R1T pickup model. This has a kind of multifunctional tunnel behind the driver's cab. And a pull-out kitchen can be hidden in this tunnel, for example.

A camper kitchen like this is now a reality and can be ordered for the 2022 model of the R1T pickup. And anyone who thinks of a gas stove and dented tin pan when they think of a camping kitchen has not yet arrived in the world of Rivian. Their pickup kitchen comes with a double induction hob, a set-up area including a sink and water tank with pressure pump and a 30-piece kitchen set that contains everything the pickup camper with high demands can imagine, from pans to crockery, cutlery to corkscrews.

Rivian currently quotes the cost of this upgrade at 5,000 dollars. The envious looks from the van tourists parked next door, on the other hand, are priceless.
