Trail tip for the weekend: Chasseral

Summer, sun, sunshine - the weather forecast for the weekend couldn't be better. This is the perfect opportunity to set off on a proper mountain bike tour. For this weekend, Ride recommends the Chasseral with its sensational singletrail descent to the lakeside of Biel.

The Chasseral is Biel's local mountain with an almost unbeatable view. But that alone is not the reason why many people climb the mountain by mountain bike. The descent over the ridge and finally over the Geissrücken to Frinvillier is a trail bammer. It is crowned with the final section directly into the city center of Biel. Biel, in turn, is located directly on Lake Biel, which is logical on the one hand, but above all useful for the coming weekend: with temperatures reaching over 30 degrees, the lake offers the perfect opportunity to cool off.
