Truvativ expands its handlebar portfolio

According to the accessories specialist Truvativ, "wider equals better" when it comes to mountain bike handlebars, and in line with this motto, the "Noir T40" carbon riser handlebars are now available in a width of 720 millimetres and several color variants.

The "Noir T40" rizer handlebars from the Truvativ Noir product group will be available for the first time in July 2012. Until now, the upward-cranked carbon handlebars of the Noir series reached the end of the handlebars at a width of 700 millimetres. According to Simon Citatti, Marketing Manager at Sram, the new handlebar width or the two centimetres more on the carbon handlebars should bring more control, more power and even more comfort to the trails.

Truvativ is launching the "Noir T40" handlebars in red, blue and silver. Other features include a weight of 215 grams, an up-sweep of 5 degrees and a back-sweep of 9 degrees. Truvativ is also promising the "Noir T40" seatposts in the above color options to match the new handlebars.
