The UCI has awarded the 2019 Mountain Bike World Championships to Mont Saint Anne in the Canadian province of Quebec. This decision was made at the end of the first day of the UCI Management Committee Meeting in Doha, where road cycling world championships are currently taking place. Mont Saint Anne is currently the oldest organizer on the World Cup calendar and has already hosted the World Championships twice. Before the third staging is certain, the organizing organization "Événements d'été de Québec" must confirm the event budget within 60 days.
