World Championships in Singen near the border
The Rothaus-Hegau Bike Marathon has become increasingly popular in recent years - among amateur athletes and professionals alike. The good organization around the organizing agency Skyder Sportpromotion managed to host the European Championships last year and the German Marathon Championships twice. On the sidelines of the Road World Championships in Ponferrada, Spain, the UCI announced its decision to hold the Marathon World Championships in Singen in 2017.
Until then, the organizers will keep the level of the event high. Next year, for example, the European Championships will be held for the second time in the volcanic landscape near the Swiss border.
