The 2015 season is marked by the departure of two great racers: Christoph Sauser and Ralph Näf are turning their backs on top-class sport at the end of the season. Ride pays tribute to the two racers with a look back at their different and successful careers on the international race tracks. The fact that Näf's children and their possible successors are also presented in the magazine is more of a coincidence than a planned editorial strategy.

The tours presented in the four-issue edition of Ride are also impressive. From the high alpine region on the southern flank of Piz Kesch to the bright green larch forests of Madulain, the first tour leads past one of the most beautifully situated SAC huts in Switzerland, the Es-cha hut. The route over the Cornopass through the Bedretto Valley has also made it into the magazine. What is expected to be a long descent turns out to be a varied singletrail tour with all kinds of surprises in store. You will also be surprised by the Lauberhorn trail up to Kleine Scheidegg. The Lauberhorn descent is one of the legendary routes of the Ski World Cup. Hidden beneath the hard-packed snow are excellent single trails - they form the basis for the trail version of the famous tour over Kleine Scheidegg. The fourth route, the tour around the Ortler, the "highest peak in the whole of Tyrol", is a tough one. The route is one of the most impressive, but also one of the most strenuous that the border region between Vinschgau and Veltlin has to offer.
