As usual, the magazine comes in a high-quality and unusual style. The focus is and remains on the major tour reports, and the March issue takes you up high. At 3474 meters above sea level, the Aiguille de la Grande Sassière is the highest point in the Alps that can be reached by bike. Ride conquered the summit and set off in Ticino to Alpe Cardada near Locarno, embarked on the adventure to Alp Era in the Albula Valley and tackled the major city bypass of Lucerne.

An important element of Ride is the interesting background reports. Issue 01/2017 focuses on the collector's scene and dragged the most beautiful vintage mountain bikes into the photo studio. There is also an extensive story on the bikepacking trend - Anke Martin went on a multi-week single trail race across New Zealand for us.

And what has been true for all previous issues of Ride is no different for issue 01/2017: above-average quality images, a lovingly designed layout and a varied lounge with lots of interesting and unusual news from the world of mountain biking.
