The extended seasonal plan includes, for example, the Panorama Trail in Davos, one of the classic mountain bike routes in Graubünden. The special thing about it: almost 100 percent singletrack. There are also many trails on the Gottardo Pass Tour, a two-day bike adventure through the heart of Switzerland. For the ascents to Grimsel, Nufenen, Gotthard and Susten, the speedy post buses are used. The next entry in the season plan: the Punta Chaligne in Aosta. The region is known for its trails, but what Aosta's local mountain has to offer is hard to beat. At most with a city trip to Lisbon. Hardly any other city in Europe has so many single trails in the urban area or in the neighboring Sintra Mountains. You can find all of this in the March issue of Ride.
 
But the March issue also has more to offer than just single trails. Ride investigates the question of why depression is a recurring problem in top-class sport - despite winning the Olympics and the world championship. And there is also a bit of self-irony in the magazine: A nice story describes how we mountain bikers pigeonhole ourselves - a bit of smiling at ourselves is a must.
 
Bike and accessory tests are of course just as much a part of the March issue of Ride as the varied lounge or the photo series by selected photographers. And what has been true for all previous issues of Ride is no different for issue 01/2019: above-average quality pictures, a loving design and a varied lounge with lots of interesting and unusual news from the world of mountain biking.
