Snow and beaches are the preferred territories of fat bikes, and the Blizzard is no different. As befits the company's name, Rocky Mountain is staging the new Blizzard in the snow of Canada. And bike legend Wade Simmons lets it rip on the powder downhill.
The brand-new bike comes with the following features: wide 4.7-inch tires that provide optimum traction and stability on snow, sand and soft trails, allowing the rider to tackle steep climbs and cruise through "Mother Nature".
The separately available frame bag was specially designed for the Blizzard by Porcelain Rocket. With its water-repellent material and waterproof zippers, the strapless system ensures that everything you hold dear stays safe and dry. The main compartment is large enough for a jacket or food, while the expandable compartments offer enough space for tools and other items. Two "Anything CageTM" fastenings and additional blind rivet nuts allow the optional attachment of additional frame bags.
At the front is the Rock Shox Bluto RL 100mm suspension fork with 15x150mm thru axle. The front derailleur mount makes it possible to switch to 2x. The narrow-wide chainring with 24 teeth was developed by Race Face and is designed to offer optimum shifting and improved climbing characteristics with an offset on the drive side. A specially developed Race Face bashguard on the outside offers protection and can be converted to 2x at any time for more versatility.
Integrated cable routing creates order. The integrated cable routing for the height-adjustable Stealth seatpost is also in the same vein.
