Some items from the collection are already available in stores and on the website. The latest rainwear and softshell outfits will arrive around mid to late November—just when the weather could start to turn nasty.
Various products in the Shelter collection are made from sustainable materials and feature a water-repellent, environmentally friendly PFC-free C0 DWR finish.
With its new styles, cuts, and materials, the Shelter collection is made for all conditions. The additional information in the product names (3L – 2.5L – 2L) indicates how many layers of material are used:
3-Layers
The 3-layer outfits with 10k/10k, fully taped seams, and water-repellent features offer complete protection for all outdoor activities. Additional ripstop reinforcements ensure durability on every alpine adventure.
2.5-Layers
The jacket and pants in the 2.5-layer version are lightweight and easy to pack, offer optimal weather protection thanks to 10k/10k, and have waterproof seams and zippers.
2-Layer Softshell
The 2-layer softshell, a favorite among the community, gets an exciting upgrade with waffle fleece for added comfort in cold and wet weather. In addition, the ripstop material enhances the durability of the pants and jackets.
Insulation
The comprehensive selection of insulated jackets and vests featuring industry-leading Primaloft and Lycra Thermolite materials ensures a comfortably warm feel.
Gloves, accessories, and merino baselayers
From the end of November, Shelter Explore Unisex will offer special off-season gloves that provide a dry and secure grip on the handlebars. The durable AX Suede Fleece provides additional comfort in cold weather. The base layer products, headbands, and beanies in the collection provide sufficient warmth even when it gets really cold.
