In the early hours of Saturday, August 21, it was already clear that nothing stood in the way of a successful day of biking with friends in Arosa. While the mountain summer was at its best, the bike teams arrived at the start at the middle station of the Arosa-Weisshorn cable car. With varying degrees of ambition, but certainly not too little motivation, the mission pass was studied from 10.00 am. The locations of this year's checkpoints and missions did not make it easy for the teams to find the optimal route. Creativity and brains were required until the official starting signal was given at 10.30 a.m.

At this year's Hörnli Trail Hunt, the winner is not just the team that completes the varied single trails the fastest. Rather, it's also about proving yourself on the fun missions from Deuter, Scott Sports, Endura and Continental alongside the trails. The teams' brain cells and laugh muscles were also put to the test with sack races, brain games and "giant rucksack" carrying. The combination of flowing single trails, a not entirely easy section through the Urdentäli and the panoramic mountain railway rides were sure to make every biker's heart beat faster in Arosa this year. It goes without saying that you have to round off a day like this with a cozy get-together and a good portion of Hörnli & Ghackets at sunset on the Obersee.

The legendary Hörnli Trail Hunt has become an integral part of the destination of Arosa. This is the fifth time that the fun race on the trails in Bear Mountains Arosa has provided a good atmosphere and many new laugh lines. Alessio Princigalli, Team Leader Events at Arosa Tourism, looks back on a successful weekend together with the lawnmowers and is delighted that the event has once again provided unforgettable highlights in the mountain bike scene this year.
