Quercus (the Latin name for oak) is one of the most valued and dominant tree species in the forests of the north of the Spanish peninsula. The oak, which is called carbayu in Asturias, grows on moist soils, is resistant to storms and is large. All of this also characterizes the Quercus, the most reliable and powerful e-mountain bike from MMR.

Frame

Made entirely from carbon, the frame is designed to be as reliable as it is safe. Its rear triangle offers 150 millimetres of travel, so the suspension combined with a 150 millimetre Fox Factory 36 suspension fork can take a beating.

The seat tube accommodates posts with a diameter of 34.9 millimetres and ensures greater stiffness in this area. Variable seatposts with 150 millimetres of travel are guaranteed for frame sizes M and L, and 120 millimetres for size S.

In collaboration with Fox, the effects on the suspension were analyzed and the mounting leg for the shock was reinforced as a result. The progressive leverage ratio makes the Quercus an e-mountainbike that focuses on demanding terrain, where the rear suspension becomes significantly firmer on the last part of the stroke.

The oversized steering system has a new function. A lock at a total of 150 degrees prevents the handlebars from damaging the frame in the event of a fall. For the same reason, the bulky display on the handlebars has been removed. The control unit is now integrated into the horizontal tube.

Drive

The Quercus is durable and comes with the latest Bosch model, the Performance Line CX G5 motor. It has an 800 watt-hour battery and the option of extending the range to 1000 watt hours with a range extender.
